My Approach
I work from a trauma-informed perspective, with the belief that your childhood, conditioning, and past experiences all influence the way you show up in your current life. Coping skills that were once necessary for survival are no longer efficient and sometimes even work against you as an adult.
In sessions, we’ll work together to understand where your patterns come from and gently shift them. As you build more self-awareness and learn new ways of thinking and responding, you’ll start to feel more confident making choices that feel right for you. My role is to empower you and work with you at your own pace, so you feel safe to explore and make meaningful changes.
I use a warm and collaborative approach rooted in helping you make meaning out of life’s most difficult experiences. I integrate existential therapy to support adults navigating major life transitions, grief, or losses that have reshaped their identity or sense of purpose.
Trauma Processing and Recovery with EMDR
I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a structured therapy that helps the brain reprocess traumatic memories so they no longer feel as distressing or triggering. EMDR can be especially effective for those carrying unresolved trauma, painful memories, or limiting beliefs - helping you move through the past with more clarity, relief, and emotional freedom.
Relationship Trauma & Domestic Violence
I’m passionate about supporting survivors of domestic violence or those who are finding their way out of unhealthy or emotionally unsafe relationships. Therapy can offer a space to process the impact, rebuild self-trust, and redefine what safe connection looks like.
Life Transitions - Loss & New Beginnings
Significant life changes - whether chosen or unexpected - can leave us questioning everything. I support individuals navigating the complex emotions and identity shifts that follow major life transitions, including those related to health changes, loss, aging, relationship shifts, career changes, or new roles. Together, we create space for your questions, and explore the themes of meaning, faith, uncertainty, and resilience.
